Is there an age limit?
Our tour is not suitable for children under 7 years old.
When can I book my tour?
In the Spring and Fall we do Full and Half Day Tours for our guests. However, in July and August, Provence reaches 40°+C/100°+F, so we do Half Day Tours only for comfort and safety. Also, to avoid local crowds, we operate Monday - Friday so you can have as private an experience as possible. Please note that our vintage Land Rover is equipped with air conditioning, however it may not be sufficient in high temperatures.
What should I expect on the tour? What do I bring?
There will be moderate-level hiking. We recommend you wear hiking boots or sturdy tennis shoes only for your safety. We can adapt the duration and level of the hike from 30 min to 2 hours depending on your fitness level and wishes. Remember to bring a water bottle, sunscreen, and a hat.
What if there's bad weather?
Your safety and fun are our top priority, so if we experience rain, strong winds, or severe heat, we will sadly need to cancel the tour. You will receive a full refund or we can book for another day.
Can you meet us at our hotel or rental?
We are happy to pick you up and drop you off if you are in Aix en Provence or up to 30km from Rognes. Please note we will need to pick you up 30 minutes before your tour in order to get to our first location and we will drop you off up to 30 min after the tour ends. Depending on the distance, there will be an additional 50€ to150€ charge for this service.
How do I book and what is the cancellation policy?
We will send you an invoice with a link to complete the payment, which we ask that you process within 24 hours. Your reservation is confirmed only after payment is received. If you decide to cancel up to 7 days before your tour, we will gladly refund you 100%. If you cancel up to 48 hours before your tour, we will refund you 50% or we can reschedule your tour for another day based on availability. No refunds or changes can be made if you cancel within 48 hours.
Do you take last-minute reservations?
If we have last-minute availability, we will gladly take a reservation up to 24 hours before the tour. We ask that you complete the payment immediately so we can start making arrangements, as your reservation is only confirmed after payment. Unfortunately, we cannot issue a refund if you cancel.
Can I smoke during the tour?
Please notify us ahead of time if you will need smoking breaks, as we will plan designated stops in safe areas. As this is a nature tour, smoking is absolutely forbidden due to fire risks. Unfortunately, the tour will end immediately if smoking occurs outside of the designated smoking stops.
Will our picnic or breakfast be private, or can we have Guylaine and Franck join us?
If you want a private experience, we are happy to pick you up when your breakfast or lunch is complete. Or, if you want to have a group picnic with us, we are happy join you.
Do I need to sign a waiver?
Yes, to join our tour we ask that you sign a waiver upon payment.
