Discover the Luberon
Passionate about nature? We invite you to discover the Luberon with us. Far off the beaten path aboard our legendary Land Rover Defender, we'll take you on an adventure where you will admire breathtaking views from summits accessible by 4X4, and so much more.
On one of our stops, we will check wildlife observation cameras installed at strategic locations to discover the fauna of Provence. We will then travel through the woods to discover the flora that makes it so unique.
After picking aromatic herbs, the secret of Provençal cuisine, we will share a picnic with Mediterranean flavors and wash it down with a good chilled rosé and a flute of champagne, all while enjoying panoramic views.
We will then descend to the banks of the Durance to observe the birds that inhabit its banks. This very wild river begins in the Southern Alps and adds to the beauty of the Luberon landscape. We will then take you to the middle of a beautiful olive grove and explain the characteristics of this emblematic tree of the South of France. The estate will welcome us for a tasting of its various olive oils and share how they produce the green gold of Provence.
We will end the day with a visit to a vineyard steeped in history and share a moment of new friendship over a good glass of wine.

About your guides
Guylaine and Franck are passionate about the Luberon and love sharing their discoveries with people who appreciate the beauty as much as they do. Both French natives, they have lived in Provence for over two decades, carefully restoring their enchanting property in Rognes. This property has three gites available to reserve on Airbnb under La Bastide des Amandiers. They started Luberon Authentic Tours at the request of their guests who not only wanted a beautiful place to stay, but incredible experiences to go along with their time in Provence.
